Meet Our New Orleans, LA Dental Care Team
Dana: Team Leader
Dana has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Her experience brings a wealth of knowledge to our office. Dana received her radiology and dental assisting certifications from Eastern Dental Assisting School and went on to earn her Expanded Duty Dental Assisting certification from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. She will meet with you one on one to discuss your treatment plan and talk about your financial options.
While at home she enjoys cooking for her family, exploring the outdoors, and visiting her daughter in Utah who is currently in dental school.
Ashley C: Patient Care Coordinator
Ashley grew up loving going to the dentist and quickly realized that she knew the dental field was a career she wanted to pursue. After graduating high school in 2011, Ashley started her dental career as a dental assistant. She went to Louisiana State University School of Dentistry to earn her Expanded Duty Dental Assisting certification in 2013. After Ashley started with our team in 2020, she started her new role as a patient care coordinator. As you get to know Ashley you will quickly realize making people smile is what brings her joy and what better way to express that than by helping her patients achieve their best smile yet!
In her spare time she enjoys traveling the world with her husband and her two adorable sons.

Stephanie: Scheduling Coordinator
Stephanie has not only been with our office for 20 years, she’s married to Dr. Canatella. As our scheduling coordinator she enjoys talking with our patients and helping them with their special dental needs. She previously studied at Louisiana State University.
Outside of the office, she is a licensed occupational therapist and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to her children’s activities.
Stacy: Clinical Manager
Stacy has been an incredible assistant for over 20 years now. As our clinical leader, she works hard to make sure your time in the dental chair is not only pleasant but meets your highest expectations. When assisting, Stacy works side-by-side with Dr. Canatella to help patients overcome their fear of dentistry and achieve a healthier smile. She is certified in CEREC, 3D imaging, OSHA, and EDDA.
When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys crafts, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Colby: Dental Assistant
Colby grew up in Luling and graduated from Hahnville High School. Shortly after graduating, Colby realized that she was interested in learning more about the dental field and is excited to share her dental knowledge with her patients. Her favorite thing about the dental field is seeing the amazing before and after results on our veneer patients! She says, “It truly is a work of art!”
When Colby is not in the office, she loves to work out and travel.
Nicole: Registered Dental Hygienist
Nicole is a native New Orleanian who graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and University of New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She continued her education at the University of Mississippi, earning her second Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys teaching her patients the importance of oral hygiene and how it affects their overall health.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading and traveling. She is, also, a big fan of napping with her French bulldog puppy, Spencer.

Mi: Registered Dental Hygienist
Mi was born and raised in Vietnam. She moved to Minnesota when she was 10 years old then moved to New Orleans her junior year in high school. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. Mi chose this career because she was always inspired to uplift others self-esteem and grow confidence in their smiles.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying out new restaurants, traveling, taking pictures, and making flower bouquets.
Babs: Registered Dental Hygienist
Barbara Christopher, nicknamed “Babs”, graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2000, she attended LSU to become certified in administering anesthesia. Babs also taught clinical courses at Loyola University for five years in head and neck anatomy. She has practiced dental hygiene for over 40 years. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys gardening, Yoga, Pilates, eating around New Orleans and spending time with her grandchildren.
Gabi: Hygienist
Gabi grew up in Scott, Louisiana right outside of Lafayette. She graduated from Louisiana School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Biological Sciences Degree. Gabi really enjoys the interactions that she has with her patients while making a positive impact on their oral health.
Outside of the office, Gabi loves working out, reading, cooking, and playing Pickleball.
